Exorbitant Losses of Property and Lives after 11 Days of Conflict
11 days of conflict left huge losses in lives, property, residential and commercial facilities, government institutions, and agricultural lands. According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, the Israeli airstrikes attacked on the Gaza Strip, by land, air and sea, resulted in the death of 234 civilians, including 65 children, 39 women, and 17 elderly people. The mosques were also affected as 3 mosques were completely demolished by direct targeting, and 40 mosques and one church were severely destroyed. Moreover, 1,447 houses were completely destroyed, along with another 13,000 that were partially damaged to varying degrees.
