MARIAM 10-year-old orphan girl from Khan Younes
Mariam lives with her five-membered family, her single mother, two sisters, and one brother. The family lives in a very bad condition, the mother does not have a job what so ever, and as a result, the family does not have a steady source of income. The family mainly relies on social welfare which they receive every four months and charity aids along with donations from good people to support their daily lives. Mariam’s sponsorship has also helped the family financially and emotionally in their life.
Mariam is in the third grade. She studies in a private school, to which she goes through transportation that costs around 25GBP a month. She is a good student, and to keep her performance on the track, she takes extra tuition lessons in her basic school subjects that cost around 30GBP a month.
All family members enjoy good health; none of them suffer from any disease what so ever.
Al Majd Association for Development sponsors Mariam and her family, along with tens of families in the Gaza strip, this will ensure for those families to have suitable and humanitarian life and will enable them to provide food, medication, and education.
