SHADYAH 19-year-old orphan girl from Rafah

The family lives in a bad condition. It consists of 3 members, the mother, and two girls. Shadyah’s family has only one source of income which is the father’s pension £300 per month. The family has a house which consists of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a lounge, and a bathroom. This family has a daughter studying at the university and another studying at school. Shadyah is in eleventh grade. She studies at a governmental school and her school is close to her house, so she goes to school on foot. She is a good student at school but she suffers from many difficulties in English and Maths, so she takes private lessons in these subjects and she pays about £20 per month. She dreams to be a teacher. She needs stationary, such as notebooks, pencils, pens, books..etc. for school. The family has health insurance and all the family members are in good health condition. Al Majd Association for Development sponsors Shadyah and her family, along with tens of families in the Gaza strip, this will ensure for those families to have suitable and humanitarian life and will enable them to provide food, medication, and education.
