Islam 11 year-old-orphan girl from Beit Hanoun

As always, Islam gets almost excellent results at school, she is in the fifth primary school grade and she likes studying Math and Science. But she faces difficulties in English. The school is far away and she walks for 30 minutes and reaches it exhausted and sometimes late. Islam loves swimming, painting, playing basketball at school. She also loves helping her mother in the house. She also likes playing hopscotch, jumping the robe, and other traditional games with her relatives and neighborhoods. In addition, she participated in the school’s propaganda by presenting plays, cleaning, and organizing the school. Finally, she is looking forward to being a Doctor in the future. The mother and the rest of the family members have no job or profession because of the lack of job opportunities in the country. Therefore, the only source of income for the family is little aids received as food coupons from UNRWA. Consequently, the family faces critically bad economic conditions and they depend mostly on Islam’s sponsorship to get her various needs and some of the family’s essential demands and on buying for debts from groceries and pharmacies, and other generous people’s support to cover part of their basic life needs. Unfortunately, the brother has health problems and he takes expensive injections such as PREGNYLE for medication weekly. Al Majd Association for Development sponsors Islam and her family, along with tens of families in the Gaza strip, this will ensure for those families to have suitable and humanitarian life and will enable them to provide fod, medication, and education.
