Qurbani project 2019

Eid al-Adha or Eid Qurban, also called the "Festival of the Sacrifice", is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year, and considered the holier of the two. It honours the vision of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God's command. But, before Abraham could sacrifice his son, God provided a lamb to sacrifice instead. In commemoration of this intervention, an animal is sacrificed ritually and divided into three parts. One share is given to the poor and needy, another is kept for home, and the third is given to relatives. This occasion has many lessons for human kind, that’s to be patient in all test we encounter and trust Allah, because he will save you .Another lesson taken from this that before this holiday many religions and ritual act used to sacrifice man to get closer to god, but this festival came to end that and stop the human sacrifice. This year Al-Majd Association for Development implemented “Qurbani project” for needy family in Gaza strip, this project serves severely poor families who barely can afford their daily meals.
